A CNN investigation reviewed by Blooloop reports more than a dozen serious injuries and hospitalizations associated with X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain over nearly two decades. The attraction was closed on July 12 after two women reportedly suffered brain hemorrhages following rides earlier that month, while a state inspection remains ongoing.
Six Flags Magic Mountain’s X2 has been closed since July 12 while California investigates an incident involving a reported injury. The coaster’s future is also being questioned after the park and train supplier S&S Worldwide settled a wrongful death lawsuit tied to a 22-year-old rider’s death.
