Disney On Ice’s “Spotlight Magic!” debuted at Orlando’s Kia Center with a new “Zootopia 2” segment featuring Gazelle and Gary De’Snake. The sequence also brings Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde onto the ice and appears immediately before the production’s finale.
Two oversized foreground props have been added to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT, following Disney’s previously announced conversion of the attraction from 3D to 2D. The additions are intended to soften the visual seams between the ride’s screens and physical sets.

Universal Orlando Resort has added three dates to Universal Nights, its limited-capacity, separately ticketed after-hours event at Epic Universe. The event will now run on five nights this fall, with attraction access, entertainment, character interactions, specialty snacks and beverages included with admission.
Universal Orlando Resort will permanently close Animal Actors On Location! at Universal Studios Florida after its final performances on Nov. 2, 2026. The venue is expected to make way for a new experience, although Universal has not yet shared details about the future development.
Singapore’s Satay by the Bay will serve its final customers on Sept. 30 before the 1,000-seat foodcourt closes permanently. The site will become part of Wetlands by the Bay, a planned 5-hectare development scheduled to open in stages from the end of 2028.
The 2026 holiday season at Disneyland Resort will run from Nov. 13, 2026, through Jan. 6, 2027, with seasonal entertainment, attraction overlays, cultural performances, food and merchandise across the resort. World of Color – Season of Light will also return to Disney California Adventure on opening day.
New balloon tests shown by Walt Disney Imagineering provide an early look at the planned elevations of Villains Land and Piston Peak National Park. The footage suggests Maleficent’s fortress could become one of the most prominent themed elements in the new land.
Universal Studios Japan may expand onto nearly 15 acres of Osaka-owned land in a project reportedly costing up to $1.88 billion. Nikkei reported that the park could add attractions and pursue a lease agreement with Osaka’s municipal government around 2028, although Universal has not confirmed the plans.
