Universal Studios Hollywood’s 2026 Halloween Horror Nights lineup includes haunted houses inspired by Sinners and Ozzy Osbourne, plus appearances by characters from Obsession and Terrifier across the event. Halloween Horror Nights is taking place on select nights from September 3 through November 1, 2026.
The Sinners haunted house, located in the UBE Venue on the Upper Lot near The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash, follows the latter half of Ryan Coogler’s film. Guests enter Club Juke during a performance by Sammie, also known as Preacher Boy, as vampires begin to overrun the venue. The experience then moves through the surrounding woods and back into the juke joint, where several characters have been transformed and a confrontation unfolds as sunrise approaches.
On the Lower Lot, the Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness house is located in the Mummy Venue. The experience draws from Osbourne’s 13 solo albums and was developed separately from a house with the same name at Universal Studios Florida. According to WDW News Today, the Halloween Horror Nights team worked with the Osbourne family on the house’s designs.
The experience begins at the crumbling Osbourne Station, inspired by the Birmingham train station from Osbourne’s childhood, before moving to Platform 666 and the Osbourne Asylum. Guests encounter multiple versions of Osbourne, including a stilt-walking conductor, Madman Ozzy and Werewolf Ozzy. The house also includes references to songs such as “Crazy Train” and “Bark at the Moon,” as well as a giant animatronic bat.
Nikki, or Freaky Nikki, from Obsession can be encountered on the Upper Lot near The Secret Life of Pets. She appears in the blood-soaked black dress and boots worn during the film’s final scene and carries a brick. WDW News Today reported that the character’s addition was announced by Halloween Horror Nights creative director John Murdy at Midsummer Scream. Guests who share a daily secret word with Nikki may receive a One Wish Willow card while supplies last.
The World-Famous Studio Tour has also been converted into the Terror Tram, this year featuring Art the Clown from Terrifier. Ice Nine Kills provided original music for the experience, which uses a Christmas theme built around Art’s desire to celebrate the holiday early. The route includes Art’s Christmas Tree Farm, a holiday party at the Bates Motel, Art’s Christmas Cafe, a Christmas-themed War of the Worlds area and Art’s Workshop.
The event also includes the Evil Dead Burn haunted house on the Lower Lot’s H-Lot South, at one end of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Based on the 2026 film, the house follows Alice Price as Deadites attack her family home. Guests move through locations including the crash site where Alice’s husband died, a shed, the Price family home and the burning house’s exterior.
