Former Walt Disney Imagineering concept designer Eric Robison will headline Learn the WEDway: An Evening with Eric Robison on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 5 p.m. The event will focus on his career in Imagineering, his Disney fine art, and the creative process behind his work.
According to WDW News Today, Robison will share stories from his time as an Imagineering concept designer, discuss his artistic process, and offer insight into the Disney projects that influenced his career. Guests will also learn more about the progression from an initial concept to a completed piece of Disney artwork.
Robison graduated with honors from the ArtCenter College of Design before beginning his professional career at Walt Disney Imagineering. His work as a concept designer contributed to projects associated with Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland, according to the report.
His career later expanded into Disney fine art after his paintings of classic Disney characters attracted the attention of former Imagineering executive Marty Sklar. Robison has since created artwork inspired by attractions, landmarks, and stories including the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Matterhorn, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary.
The event is part of the Learn the WEDway series, which brings together former Imagineers, Disney artists, and other creative professionals to discuss the people, ideas, artwork, and processes involved in creating Disney experiences.
