Six Flags St. Louis Rebrands as Mid America Adventure

Theme Park Report

Six Flags St. Louis officially became Mid America Adventure on Aug. 27, introducing a new name and logo as the Missouri park begins what it describes as “Chapter One” of its next era. Attractions Magazine reported that the rebrand connects the park to its history as Six Flags Over Mid-America, the name used when it opened in 1971. The new logo incorporates St. Louis imagery along with elements representing the park’s roller coasters and water park. Video released with the announcement shows crews removing Six Flags branding and installing the new Mid America Adventure identity. The park is operated by Enchanted Parks, which acquired six former Six Flags properties. According to Attractions Magazine, Enchanted Parks CEO James Harhi said earlier this year that the company planned to establish a distinct approach at the parks, telling the outlet, “these parks are not Six Flags.” Harhi described the Mid America Adventure name as the next step in the company’s ongoing investment in the park and the surrounding community. The park said the rebrand honors its 55-year legacy while signaling a future focused on experiences for families throughout the Midwest. For guests, the immediate operating lineup remains familiar. Mid America Adventure will continue to offer its existing rides and attractions, along with the seasonal Hurricane Harbor water park. The property has more than 45 rides and attractions across the theme park and water park. Previously purchased 2026 tickets remain valid. Six Flags season passes and active memberships purchased before April 6, 2026, will continue to provide their applicable admission and multi-park benefits through the 2026 season. Passes purchased after the ownership transition are subject to Enchanted Parks’ access rules. The park is located at 4900 Six Flags Road in Eureka, Missouri, and typically operates from spring through fall, with seasonal events and operating dates varying throughout the year. As the transition continues, guests will increasingly see Mid America Adventure and Enchanted Parks branding replace the former Six Flags identity.
