New aerial photos show carved, painted panels installed across the upper tiers of the temple being built for Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Lower sections remain unfinished, with additional panels staged nearby as construction continues toward a planned 2027 opening.
Decorative sections for the temple facade of Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent are being installed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The attraction is part of the park’s developing Tropical Americas land and will replace DINOSAUR.
Steel framing for Casita’s central tower is now visible at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where Tropical Americas is taking shape ahead of its scheduled 2027 opening. Construction is also progressing on the land’s carousel, village plaza, dining location, and Indiana Jones attraction.
The entrance arch, village structures, mountain backdrop, and themed rockwork for Tropical Americas are taking shape at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The land is scheduled to open in 2027 on the former DinoLand U.S.A. site, bringing new attractions, retail, dining, and a playground.
