Fun Spot America has confirmed that ArieForce One has been sold, providing the first official confirmation that the Rocky Mountain Construction coaster will not simply disappear with the permanent closure of Fun Spot Atlanta. The company announced the sale Sept. 3 in a social media video featuring CEO John Arie Jr. holding an ArieForce One-branded shovel.
“ArieForce One has SOLD!!!” appeared on screen during the video, while Fun Spot asked viewers to “drop your guesses” about what would happen next. The company did not identify the buyer or announce a new location for the coaster.
The confirmation follows comments attributed to Arie during Fun Spot Atlanta’s final operating day on Aug. 2. In a video shared by Thrills_R_Us on X, a man believed to be Arie spoke over the coaster’s public address system before a launch and told riders, “It’s not going to be your last ride on ArieForce One.” He also suggested that the coaster could retain its current name, though Fun Spot had not officially confirmed the speaker’s identity at the time.
Those remarks led enthusiasts to interpret the comments as an indication that ArieForce One could be relocated. One social media response referenced Six Flags Great Adventure, reflecting speculation about a possible destination, but Attractions Magazine noted that there was no evidence or official announcement supporting that rumor.
Fun Spot had not disclosed ArieForce One’s fate when it announced the permanent closure of its Atlanta park. The coaster was notably absent from that announcement despite serving as the park’s signature attraction. ArieForce One opened in 2023, following Fun Spot America’s acquisition of the Fayetteville property in 2017 and subsequent additions to the park.
Fun Spot America continues to operate its Orlando and Kissimmee parks. For now, the sale confirms a change in ownership for ArieForce One, but additional details about its removal, relocation or future operation have not been announced.
