SeaWorld Orlando has debuted Hotel Transylvania Monster Breakfast, a seasonal character dining experience at SeaFire Grill running as part of the park’s 2026 Halloween Spooktacular. Attractions Magazine experienced the breakfast on its opening morning, Aug. 29.
The approximately hour-long event combines an all-you-care-to-eat buffet with character encounters and a live mini-show featuring Drac, Mavis, Johnny, Frank and Murray. The restaurant has been decorated with Halloween-themed menus, flickering candles, Halloween music and a large screen showing a colorful nighttime view of the SeaWorld Orlando skyline.
The experience follows a structured schedule. Guests first have the opportunity to meet Drac and Mavis together, along with Johnny at a separate greeting area. After breakfast, all five characters appear in a three-song mini-show with two additional entertainers. The remaining character stations then open, allowing guests to meet Frank and Murray.
According to Attractions Magazine, the buffet is available for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, with guests permitted to return as often as they like. Food options include scrambled eggs, Western scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, brown sugar-glazed ham, biscuits and gravy, potato barrels, French toast sticks, fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, milk, coffee, juice and soft drinks.
The review found that the sweeter selections performed better than some of the savory offerings. Doughnuts were decorated as monsters and mummies, while French toast sticks featured white drizzle, sprinkles and candy eyes. The review described the food as decent overall but said the characters and theming were the main appeal of the experience.
Hotel Transylvania Monster Breakfast costs $35.99 for adults and $20.99 for children ages 3 to 9. Annual Pass Members may use their applicable dining discount.
Attractions Magazine also noted that the indoor setting gives guests a way to meet the five characters in air conditioning, without spending additional park time searching for them around SeaWorld Orlando. The review identified closely positioned tables near the Drac and Mavis greeting area as a logistical issue, while describing the structured format and number of character encounters favorably.
