Theme Park Report

The exterior refurbishment of Little Green Men Store Command at Disneyland’s Tomorrowland appears to be nearing completion, with the purple scrim and blue construction walls surrounding the shop now removed. WDW News Today observed the updated storefront during a recent visit. The shop, located at the exit of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, had been enclosed for several months while work continued on its exterior. The attraction and store both closed in mid-April 2026. Little Green Men Store Command reopened in early June, although much of its exterior remained hidden behind scrim and construction walls. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters followed with a mid-June reopening and remained operational at the time of the report. With the barriers gone, the refreshed Space Mountain mural is once again visible. The refurbishment also restored the weathered rock facade on the far-right side of the building. The shop’s existing sign, featuring the Little Green Men characters from Toy Story, was not changed. WDW News Today noted that some painted areas behind the rock wall appeared unfinished. Purple and white paint near the top of a pillar at the shop entrance had uneven edges, while additional white streaks were visible in the gray sections farther down the wall. Other portions of the entrance had straighter paint lines. The removal of the exterior barriers suggests that the work is largely complete, although the observed paint details indicate that some finishing work may remain.
