EPCOT’s Coral Reef Restaurant Set to Reopen November 4

Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT is scheduled to reopen November 4 after closing September 8 for planned maintenance, according to BlogMickey. The restaurant will continue operating on a dinner-only schedule when service resumes. Disney’s public notice for the venue had previously said only that Coral Reef would return “later in 2026.” BlogMickey reports that operating hours now show a November 4 return, providing a more specific date for guests planning visits to EPCOT. As of the outlet’s report, the wording on Disney’s Coral Reef page had not yet been updated. The November reopening will not restore lunch service. Coral Reef has operated with reduced hours since the beginning of 2026, when it quietly ended lunch and continued with dinner service only. BlogMickey had reported in November 2025 that the lunch reduction was expected, followed by reporting in January that the change had taken effect. The temporary closure notice was posted by Disney in June and identified planned maintenance as the reason for the September 8 closure. The notice did not initially provide a specific reopening date. Guests visiting EPCOT during the closure period will therefore find Coral Reef unavailable from September 8 until its scheduled November 4 return. When the restaurant reopens, its operating schedule is expected to remain limited to dinner service.
